GPT Tracker Series is Offline

If the Access Point Name is not set correctly, the tracker cannot upload its location to the server (Red LED flashes twice).

Before proceeding make sure the Tracker battery has been fully charged and the SIM Card has been installed correctly, has been activated and credit has been applied.

Checking the Current Settings

To check the current settings, from your mobile phone, send the following SMS command to your trackers phone number:

• 3G Series – CHECK*123456
• 4G Series – CHECK*12345678

“CHECK” is the fixed command, “123456” or “12345678” is the default tracker password. This password is not the same password that is used to access your account ie the last 7 digits of your ID number.

Setting the APN

To change the APN, from your mobile phone, send the following SMS command to your trackers phone number:

• 3G Series – APN*123456*apnname
• 4G Series – APN*12345678*apnname

“APN” is the fixed command, “123456” or “12345678” is the password and “apnname” is the APN name supplied by your telephone service provider. Once the changes have been successfully been made, the tracker will respond with an SMS “APN: apnname Battery: 00%”.

To confirm the correct Access Point Name for your account please contact your SIM Card Service Provider. The most common are listed below.

• Optus – internet
• Optus, iiNet, TPG, Dodo or amaysim – yesinternet
• Vodafone or Kogan – live.vodafone.com
• Vodafone – vfinternet.au
• Aldi, Belong or Woolworths – mdata.net.au
• Crazy John’s Vodafone – purtona.net
• Virgin – VirginInternet

NOTE: APN details and SMS Commands are case sensitive.
